Enrolling and fees
Our workshops are separated into babies from birth to around 18 months and toddlers from 18 months up to five years. Our NEW workshop for our older childen called Jumping Jacks for age 3 & 4 year olds who may be left unaccompanied! However if you have two children and you wish them to attend together, we can accomodate them at any of our toddler sessions. Babies attending with older siblings go completely free until 18 months!
Baby groups are a fantastic and exciting introduction to the world of music. Our 30 minute sessions incorporate all their favourite nursery rhymes, action songs, instruments and bright colourful props making it a special time for you and your baby. It's a great way to catch up with friends too, a baby's learning world is just beginning.
Toddler groups are 45 minutes long and consist of a fun packed musical journey with well written themes covering the early years foundation stage. We will play a variety of percussion instruments including drums, bells, castanets, maracas and shakers learning rhythms and patterns, balance and co-ordination whilst having lots and lots of fun! Popular songs, actions songs, stories and unique songs to Maraca Jacks are used throughout our weekly sessions, children enjoy our growing puppet collection and we use balls, scarves, parachutes, bubbles, flags and lots of imagination too!
Jumping Jacks groups are 45 minutes long and provide a structured learning experience for your energetic 3 and 4 year olds. We include drama, physical role play, instruments, games and activities and NEW for September 2010 - Jolly Phonics learning.
Phonics is a fantastic foundation for reading and writing which is used throughout schools and pre-schools by using 'sounds' for letters with 'actions' for each exercise which we cleverly combine with music! If you child wishes to move up to one of these groups from an existing Maraca Jacks group, please contact us, new children are also welcome who may not have been following our programme before, no past knowledge is necessary!
These sessions are designed to be unaccompanied by the parents/carers - a seaparate room is available for you while you wait.
We run our sessions during term time
Your first taster session is completely free allowing you to 'try before you buy' - this is a no obligation session.
The sessions are £2.80 per week for babies and £3.80 per week for toddlers.
Payment is expected for the half term or term in advance. A discount is offered when paying for the whole term in advance - up to 15% off!
A registration fee of £10.00 applies when you join which covers administration, insurance. A FREE Maraca Jack T-shirt is also supplied to be worn to your workshops.
We understand that our workshops may appeal to parents/carers with multiple children. So at Maraca Jacks, Toddlers get in for half price when attending one of our workshops with a sibling of any age and Babies go free upto 12 months.

When you have chosen a group you would like to attend, please ring our office and state the hall name and time you wish to attend. Please leave your name and telephone number so we can get back to you with information about availability and how to register!
