Maraca Jacks has been the leading provider of Children’s music and movement sessions in the local area since 1994! Our weekly workshops give Babies, Pre-Schoolers and their Parents/Carers the opportunity to join in music, singing and playing simple percussion instruments.

Sessions are written around a weekly theme that could be anything from Big Bad Pirates to Beautiful Butterflies! We use puppets, colourful books and props and provide age appropriate instruments for your Children to explore. Active music making can have incredible benefits as well as being thoroughly enjoyable! Whilst having fun, the Children are also learning and developing life skills, including socialising, communicating, co-ordination and lots and lots of creativity! Research by Educational Psychologists has concluded that music played in early years is a strong motivator which encourages children to develop new skills. It is thought to help a child to make progress in reading and mathematics as well!

We can also provide entertainment at Birthday Parties and other special events. We can tailor the theme and include personal favourites!

Our new Jumping Jacks Parties are also proving popular with older children, combining dancing and funky games to pop music!
